Huge quantity of solid wastes is generated by the sponge iron plant and power plant.  DISIR has developed various technologies to utilize the waste like Non-Magnetic Char, SMS Slag, ESP & Bag filter dust and WHRB dust in the area of cement, refractory, building block and fuel generation.
