IRMA AWARD 2011 CERTIFICATES TROPHIES / SHIELDS

  1. Nine (9) Scientists have already been awarded Ph.D. degree and three (3) more are continuing research work for Ph.D. Degree in our Institute.

  2. DISIR has conducted a number of seminars and workshops in the field of refractory, ceramics and cement.

  3. The Institute has 257 publications in International and National Journals/forums till August 2010.

  4. 4 no. of MOU signed with – CGCRI, KSR College, MEPCO Engg. College, JITM.

  5. The Institute has registered 46 Nos. of patents. Out of 46 patents, 37 nos. have been granted till date in India and abroad.

  6. Dr. N. Sahoo, Director, DISIR was felicitated with the coveted award by IRMA - 2011. 

  7. DISIR has won the following 3 (three) Import Substitution Awards, in All India Industrial Exhibitions.

       i.           Silica bricks for tall coke oven battery -        1987

         ii.           Alumina-carbon ladle shroud                -          1992

         iii.          Magnesia-carbon bricks for converter -         1999
